With over 30 years as a technology professional, Karl Meinhardt has served as a consultant to many companies regarding information technology, web, and eCommerce strategies and services. As a CIO and founder of several start-up companies, he has a full understanding of information and technology as a powerful source of service and marketing. Karl's expertise of turning knowledge into a strategic advantage has assisted many organizations and companies in their long term service goals, while focusing on building agile and adept information technology teams.

With a complete understanding of software development strategies, the importance of corporate culture, and system architecture, he has led several technology start-up companies in building empowered information technology teams that have been able to produce quality products on relatively short time frames. He believes in building teams that are inspired and empowered to execute their area of expertise thus enabling those teams to work and grow in an environment based on knowledge, trust, and ownership.

He currently is an co-owner of a baseball company and non-profit baseball research company – both of which are focused on researching biomechanics of baseball in an effort to reduce injury primarily at the youth level, but throughout all levels of the game. He has defined and lead the product develpment efforts for these companies resulting in a wide variety of products including web environments, all forms of mobile and online media, and instructional media.

As a public speaker, Karl has the unique ability to present complex concepts to a wide range of audiences making these concepts understandable and entertaining.

When he’s not consulting you can find him snowboarding on the powder in the Sawtooth Mountains (or any good powder mountain for that matter) or hitting the single-tracks on his mountain bike. He falls down a lot, but he always gets back up!

Karl is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He holds a Summa Cum Laude Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics.
