Mimi Cribbin
Mimi Cunningham Cribbin brings over 15 years of design, production and trade show experience to the event industry. She possesses a wide-range of production skills, learned both in the interior design industry and from her time as Creative Director for one of the Bay Area’s premiere production companies, DaVinci Fusion. All of these experiences compliment each other, and boil down to a well-trained eye, which can design a party or event with both creativity and functionality in mind. After spending her post college years working as a designer on Sheiks Palaces and Villas located in Saudi Arabia, the event industry lured Mimi away from traditional interior design and into the fast-paced creative world of party and event production. She landed her job at DaVinci Fusion, and found herself instantly working on such events as the Opera and Ballet’s opening night and the Black and White Ball. A 3-year stint in the trade show industry allowed Mimi to expand her skills and to work in registration all around the US. The skills used for processing trade show registrations such as ticketing, financial processing, on-site registration and attendee services are useful for successful events as well. Because production is her passion, she returned to DaVinci, as the Creative Director, producing everything from fashion shows to large corporate parties. Clients included Saks Fifth Avenue, Macys, Neiman Marcus, Oscar de la Renta, Armani, The American Cancer Society, Sun Microsystems, Lucas Film and Lucas Arts. After taking time off to start a family, Mimi is back to her first love, event planning and production. She has a BA in interior design and art from Sacramento State. |
